The name "Elim" is taken from the book of exodus where the Israelite, exhausted and dispirited enroute from Egypt's cruel bondage to the freedom of Canaan, arrive at an Oasis in the desert called Elim, where there were twelve wells of water and seventy palm trees. (Exodus 15:27)
All these children come from different villages and background for a new hope, life and to fulfill their ambition with freedom from poverty and cruel bondage. There daily needs for schooling, health, shelter,...etc. are being provided and today we are building these young orphan children in the word of God to become effective ministerial leader (Godly men and women) tomorrow.
It was started by James Ye Amar, a native missionary in the year of 2008. James says, "I am sure you will surprise when you know how God love the orphan children from Elim Family. I never thought that i will put young baby to sleep on my bed who is not my blood related and i never thought that i will feed such young baby with my own hand, that who are their mother left. And i didn't know how to love children too. But God started in me before i was ready. God sent to me 25 orphan children from different places and all of those children have their own incredible story. In those orphan children, some of their parents are unknown. If you are able to raise your hand up and help change the life of these young children and make a different in their life that will be very appreciated for your generosity. These young children just need your generosity of supporting love, care which they never get from their own blood related parents and relatives. Pleae consider to support them with your loving action to change their life."
"Religious that our God the Fathers accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27
